Solving the Gaps in Design, Distribution & Financing for Rural & Artisan Enterprises in Emerging Markets

Ellen Fish, Sprout Enterprise® Network

Join us for an interactive session to address the challenges in production, distribution and financing of the supply chain for artisan / agricultural enterprises in rural communities in emerging markets. From repurposing waste materials to unlocking new markets via ecommerce and social media to funding alternatives for working capital, we’ll look at approaches to building ethical and sustainable production processes, creating new economic opportunities, and leveraging capital to build social enterprises in the toughest contexts. We invite entrepreneurs, investors and activists to come share their own supply chain successes/failures. Our goal is to discover new approaches, find new partners and build a network of collaborators to grow these social enterprises.
